A Little Bit of Everything Crafty

We have to start the month with harvest from the garden!   These are cherries from the cherry tree, onions & garlic from the garden and beans & potatoes from the garden.  We also have tomatoes!  Thank you Lord for the produce! Next we will show the crochet projects!   With 2 new babies in the family, there were lots of baby blankets made! New Bible bag for DD!   She wanted a new bag for church!

These shirts have been around for a while but this is the first time the 3 generation Adventure Buddies wore their shirts. This is a summer cardigan using Mandala yarn.  It is the Willow Cardigan by For the Frills.  It doesn't look all that great on the hanger but I wore it to church last Sunday and got lots of compliments so it must look ok being worn.  These next two are adding to the stash of Christmas gifts for the grandsons. The is another summer T.  It is made with LB Jeans : indigo.  The challenge was floating around YouTube to make a granny "something" besides a blanket.  I already made a hexi-granny cardigan.  This was my answer to that challenge.  The pattern is by Maria Valles and is called Amma- granny square top. What a wonderful month of crafty goodness! I was able to crochet, macrame, make soap, and use my Cricut.  Lots of fun! Let's start with the crochet projects and then move into the other categories. What a fun month of crafty goodness.   This first projects is a wrap/shawl made with yarn from the Hobby Lobby clearance event.  It is a very thin weight, a pain for old eyes to work with but a perfect weight for cool evenings or air conditioned rooms.  The pattern is by Devine Debris and is called the Louise Shawl. This next one I made for the Tanks and Tee's 2023 crochet along. I am so enjoying this Tee!  I think my hubby is getting tired of seeing me wear it.  I might just have to make another one!  I used a 100% cotton yarn so it is very comfortable even on hot, sticky days.  The pattern is by Cactus and Lace Designs and it is called the Wren Tee.  The yarn was part of a Lion Brand Mystery Box.   This hexagon cardigan is a Christmas gift for DGD#4.  I actually made another one just like it for DGD#5.  A fast, easy sweater using Caron Blossom Cakes, color way Blossom.  The pattern is a compilation from Craft and a Cuppa and ...

April was a good crafty month!  I was able to finish a summer cardigan using Mandala yarn I purchased at Walmart. I was able to make some t-shirts using my Cricut.  The first one was for a dear friend that is traveling along on her DNA journey. Next is one I made for my teacher daughter.  The next two were made for a gender reveal party for our newest grand baby to be.  I will be keeping the pink one as the blue one has been claimed.💖   I then made a sweater and matching hat for my daughter.  I know the pom-pom looks pink but it is really a light orange. My last completed project was a vest for my youngest granddaughter. I sure hope it fits her!  I really like the detail on the back!
