Basic Sock #2 Hat for Me! Beginning of Kitchen Scrubby Marathon! Remake of DGD #4's Christmas Socks using Basic Sock #3  

 Happy January!  Well, the goal for January was to start 12 new projects and I want to complete all 12 by June.  I'll number each project as I complete it.  Of course, I will start and finish other things along the way but I'll let you know about the completion of the original 12. This sweater is made using Malabrigo that I purchased on the yarn crawl last April.  I finally finished it!  It  was started last fall so it doesn't count for my Jan 12. It looks much better on than it does in the picture! These 2 kitchen scrubbies were made using  yarn I purchased in 2023.  I'll count them as project #1  of my January 12 #2 Another kitchen scrubby that was started and completed in January.  I like this yarn so much better than the first 2 I made!  Well, I finished 2025 with 180 projects and 209 Skeins of yarn used.  Don't ask me how many skeins/hanks I purchased because that wouldn't reflect well on my stash busting.  Suffice it to say I rotated my stash!   My great accomplishment of the year was learning how to crochet socks.  My sock drawer is full but I'm continuing on!   My favorite make for me is the Heather's Cardigan in March 2025.   My favorite make for others is the wool sweater I made for Tim.   The item I get the most comments on is the sweater I made for myself using yarn from the yarn crawl I did with my friend.  I fell short on the number of skeins I wanted to use  but I exceeded my goal on the number of items I made. I'll take that as a win! For 2026 my goals and aspirations are a bit different.  I do want to work on my stash!  Part of that will be attained by my jumping on the bandwagon of starting 12 project in January.  Only one of these projects ...
