Happy Socktober! 2026

 Yes, it's Socktober!  I have started 6 pairs of socks and I will be using a random wheel to pick which sock I will be working on at any given time.  My shoulder has been giving me grief so I'll do my best to work in 30 minute intervals.  My sock project bag is full and I'm ready for the fun to begin.  Of course, there are Christmas gifts, wedding prep, and mini vacations to work into the month.  

At least one sock of each pair has been started and some of them have both socks started.  They all need A LOT of work! At least socks are small enough that they can tag along with me throughout our month of adventures.  Happy Sock Crocheting!

March Crafty Goodness

 This first project is a fun little vest that I made for granddaughter # 5.  She saw a vest like this one on Pinterest and thought she "needed" to add it to her wardrobe.  I'm still trying to decide if I want to add fringe to the bottom.  The yarn is Big Scoop Ice Cream from Lion Brand.  The pattern is from Two Brothers Blankets and it is called Flowers and Showers Vest. This next one is a sweater I made for myself.  The title is Cranberry Biscotti by MJ Off The Hook.  I used I Love This Yarn Tweed from Hobby Lobby.  It is so warm and cozy.  Now I need one more super cold day so I can wear it before next winter.  Actually, I'm so done with winter that I will gladly wait.   Well, we didn't know if new baby was going to be a boy or a girl so I made this girl blanket, just in case.  Looks like I will be donating this one.  The yarn I used Is I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby.   I shopped the super 75% off selected yarns ...
