September Crafty Goodness 2023
It seems like the month was way too short! I had a few projects that didn't get finished before the month was over so you will have to wait until October's recap to see those.
We are headed to Red Rocks for a concert at the end of October. It is supposed to be cold so the advice is to "layer up". This cardigan is made using Hue and Me yarn. The pattern is by twoofwands.com. It is super warm and should keep me toasty while providing lots of room for multiple layers underneath.
Let the Christmas prep begin! This is a throw blanket for one of my daughters-in-law. Her favorite color is teal so just about every shade of teal is to be found in this blanket using Bag-O-Day's C2C pattern. Of course, the yarn is from Herrschnerr's.

This first Cricut project is for our new MN grandson. Oh, is that ever crooked! 😞. Next is a shirt for DD's roommate who loves to read "real" books. Her bookshelves are very full!
This last project is for MN grandson's mommy.
See you next month with hopefully some finished cardigans, blankets, and miscellaneous goodness!
I need to take notes as I look at your projects so I don't miss one! The afghan is in my color choices, I am not yet in Assisted Living so I will be thankful its not for me. The Red Rocks cardigan is great, looks like rocks on the back! Was that planned? Teal is delightful. The basket...makes me wish I could figure out how to crochet...love baskets. "Professional" companies make crooked t-shirts also, you don't get a corner on the market! My daughter needs the no shelf control, her bookshelves are all double stacked and her husband has said no more books! Hopefully she doesn't listen to him in that regard. Boy mom, cute idea. You did a fabulous job in September and I can't wait to see what you make in October.
