March Crafty Goodness

This first project is a fun little vest that I made for granddaughter # 5.  She saw a vest like this one on Pinterest and thought she "needed" to add it to her wardrobe.  I'm still trying to decide if I want to add fringe to the bottom.  The yarn is Big Scoop Ice Cream from Lion Brand.  The pattern is from Two Brothers Blankets and it is called Flowers and Showers Vest.

This next one is a sweater I made for myself.  The title is Cranberry Biscotti by MJ Off The Hook.  I used I Love This Yarn Tweed from Hobby Lobby.  It is so warm and cozy.  Now I need one more super cold day so I can wear it before next winter.  Actually, I'm so done with winter that I will gladly wait.

Well, we didn't know if new baby was going to be a boy or a girl so I made this girl blanket, just in case.  Looks like I will be donating this one.  The yarn I used Is I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby.
I shopped the super 75% off selected yarns at Hobby Lobby and this is made from Sugarwheel Cotton yarn.  The pattern is a Hexagon Cardigan byPassionknitKelsie.  Yes, I made this for myself and I have less than $10 into the sweater.  👍

  1. You answered my question before I asked, I just didn't look ahead! Adorable girl baby blanket, I didn't know to ask if you had made that sweater your wore one day when I saw you...that will teach me! That little vest is something my daughter should make for her daughter but in pink variegated yarn. Great sale for the cardigan.
