February Crafty Goodness
At first I thought February was going to be a slow month of projects but when I looked through my photos I realized I completed more than I thought.
This project was a long time in the making! It is made with I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. It is a scrap blanket of sorts. When the virus hit and HL closed down I went to their web sight and bought 1 skein of each of the variegated yarns they still had available. I made tons of potholders and then I made this blanket with all of the yarn that I didn't use. You can only give away so many potholders! I used a second gray yarn with each variegated. I was making great progress and then I discovered that I was losing a stitch every row. I frogged that and started over. Whew! I finally finished 2 years later!
This is one of 4 baby blankets that I am making. I know 2 people that are expecting that don't know whether they are having pink or blue. I will make 2 of each and donate the unused ones to the church for baby gifts.
Last but not least, a Cricut project. Every month I have made a boho rainbow t-shirt for my teacher-daughter. Here is February's creation. The design came from Design Bundles.net and I used HTVront vinyl.
This first afghan is one I made for hubby's office. Quite often in the afternoons I will crochet in his office while he is on work phone calls. His office is rather drafty and I would get chilled. Well, I solved that problem! This pattern came from the February issue of Crochet World magazine, I used Impeccable yarn from Michael's.
